Description
Handbuilt porcelain cup with a textured surface on the outside and a smooth glaze on the inside. The uneven surface makes it easy to grip the cup in one hand. This was created purposefully by grabbing the cup with the hand while the clay was still wet. Holding the cup is like shaking hands with me!
The matte outside surface is decorated with turquoise terra sigillata on the porcelain patterned surface (no glaze). The inside surface has a dark teal glossy glaze. The bottom of the cup has a black satin glaze. The cup has a decent size (4″ x 4″ x 4″) and can accommodate up to 2 cups of liquid.
Food and microwave safe. Handwashing recommended.
