Description
Tall handbuilt rectangular porcelain bottle (21″ high, 5.5″ width). Each side of the bottle is partly decorated with lines in an alternating design. This design was done by a ceramic technique of inlaying black underglaze into the white porcelain (also known as ‘Mishima’). The design is protected by a soft blue glossy glaze that contrasts with the textured white crackle glaze on the bottle. The foot of the bottle is slightly recessed and coated with black terra sigillata. The inside of the bottle is glazed and water tight.
